War Sucks. Period.

Hey everyone, as you might have noticed from the title of this episode, there will be no regular episode today. It just- it wouldn’t have felt right to keep going as if nothing was happening. I am not usually one to speak about the current political situation but this time, probably because I have this public platform, I felt compelled to do so.

As most of you might be aware already, a little less than a week ago Ukraine was invaded and has been under attack ever since.

Now, I don’t understand politics and I certainly don’t understand how someone might think that something like this could ever be justified. Ever. And as it often happens, the ones paying the price of these conflicts are civilians, you know? People whose only goal is to go on with their lives.

Anyway, I’ve given this a lot of thought and I came to the conclusion I want to do what little I can to help those of you who are listening to this and who have been affected in one way or another by this conflict.

I am no therapist, I’m just an English teacher. It’s what I do best, I teach English, so on Saturday, I will be in my online room for a few hours in case you want to come, talk and practice speaking English with me and other students that might join. Again, I know it’s not much but it’s the best I could come up with.

So if you are going through a tough time, right now, because of this war, I don’t care what country you’re from, alright? If you’ve been affected in any way, shape or form by this conflict, feel free to join me. I’ll leave all the information in the description of this episode.
