The Four-Week Speaking Challenge is a great opportunity to practice speaking, connect with other learners and receive feedback on your speaking skills.
How does it work?
Each day, for 28 days, you will get access to a new speaking prompt. Simply take a few minutes to think about what you’re going to say, record a response directly from your browser, receive feedback and comment on some of the other videos.
How will it help me?
This challenge will help you in a lot more ways than you might think! You will practice English daily, build a great new habit, connect with others in a meaningful way, receive feedback from a certified teacher and possibly even discover something new about yourself.
What do you say? Are you up for the challenge? 😈
What should I do in order to complete the challenge?
In order to complete the challenge, you'll have to post a short response (1.5 minutes) every day for 28 days and leave a comment on someone else's video.
What happens if I miss a day?
You will have 48 hours to complete each task so, even if you miss a day, you'll still have 24 hours to recoup.Â
When does it begin?
The Four-Week Speaking Challenge will begin on May 30th and it will end on June 24th.
What if I don't want to show my face?
Although there is a "mic-only" option when recording your response, I strongly recommend recording the video as well, because seeing each other helps us connect. It will be a nice small group anyway so there's nothing to worry about.Â
How much time will it take me every day?
Between posting your own response and commenting on someone else's video, I believe completing the challenge will take you anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes a day.
